Welcome to In The Thick of It a plus size fashion blog run by amanda lee stilwell.  

I’m Amanda - a 5’9” approximately size 16 queer person in my early 30s living in the midwest (originally from the gulf coast).  

I started this blog so I could chronicle my efforts to find cute affordable plus size fashion.  I’ve been involved with the online plus size/ fat community for many years - including starting the “Inbetweenies” community on LiveJournal many years ago.
