In The Thick Of It

Here is the much-desired Avenue sequin skirt.  I just quickly paired it with a red silk J. Crew top and a boring sweater.  I mostly just wanted you guys to be able to see it.

I’m not sure I love it.  I think it will probably work for a lot of people, but I don’t know about keeping it.  The quality is a little cheap for me, though if it’s a sort of special occasion sort of thing that wont’ be worn a lot, I don’t think that will be a problem.  It has an elastic waistband that is about 1.5” wide.  No zipper.  It’s sheer to the point that i would wear a slip under it (especially if photos were going to be taken)

I bought a size 18/20, which should fit me well.  Just for reference, my hips measure 50” and I’m 5’9” (Doesn’t it seem short on me?  I thought it would be a little longer!)
