Slink back to 1992 - Forever 21+ Print Dress

I was a teenager in the 90s - but my style tended towards the grunge scene - babydoll dresses, oversized flannels and mary jane shoes.  But that doesn’t mean that big prints went unnoticed.  I was obsessed with fashion even then and I collected tons of magazines.  I vividly recall the Versace ads from the early 90s - the bold prints of the period are burned into my brain.

When I saw this dress at forever 21, I waivered - is it really my style to wear something so bold?  Well ultimately yes - it’s weird and I can’t avoid an excuse to wear big gaudy gold accessories.
